The story of Rolls-Royce began in the late 1800’s as the company emerged from the electrical and mechanical business established by Henry Royce.
Royce built his first motor car in 1904 and in May of that year met Charles Rolls, whose company sold quality cars in London. The 2 reached agreement that Royce Limited would manufacture a range of cars to be exclusively sold by CS Rolls & Co – they were to bear the name Rolls-Royce. The Rolls name has always been synonymous wth oppulence and preminent luxury. Although considered land yachts by many enthusiasts standards, today’s Rolls-Royce is every bit as concerened with performance as they are with creature comforts. Every conceivable luxury is close at hand, even some you would never even dream you would find in a car…..but for the price of a house, expectations run high!
