The Infiniti brand was created by Nissan and launced in 1990 as a means to create and sell premium vehicles in America that wouldn’t have otherwise fit in with Nissan’s more mainstream image. Although considered an upscale, luxury vehicle, almost all Infinitis have close cousins within the Nissan model range and in fact, almost all siblings share similar chasis and drive trains. Infiniti has trailed other more popular European models such as BMW and Mercedes however, in recent years, bold styling coupled with dramatic increases in overall performance has moved Infiniti forward and has enabled it to stand side by side as a viable alternative to these European offerings. Infiniti offers a range of both performance sedans and SUV’s, all of which are highlighted below.
