The Bugatti company and, most particularly, the company’s founder Ettore Bugatti are venerable fixtures in the world of automobile engineering. From the very beginning, Bugatti’s unique constructions and high aesthetic standards have enthralled the public and spawned a virtually boundless passion in those fortunate enough to own such automotive works of art. The company’s lone product today, the Veyron, is by most standards the pinnacle of automotive exotica. I recently saw a road test whereby the driver claimed to actually achieve flight as the super car approached speeds in excess of 200 MPH. Bugatti claims that at full throttle, the Veyron’s tires will last approximately 12 minutes. Thank goodness that the fuel only lasts for 11.
